Dear time, oh time, why are you coming from nowhere and pass by without stopping?
Well, to be honest with you, I recently have a lot of opportunities to think about you.
First of all, this thought all started from having another birthday (12.05). Although It is true that the more you age, the less you become aware of this day, it is really a good time to reflect the past, present and future, which also gives enough reason to remind that it is never too late to learn or re-learn things.
One of the examples is a quick re-shot on a head-spinning. It’s been 11 years since I started break dance and I have not done for years. Let’s say my level of power move (acrobatic movements) at the peak period was 3 out of 10, and it became 0 since then, But at least it recently got from 0 to 1, which made me decide to make “It’s never too late” videos throughout my life (at a gradual pace).

Also, Dec 5th was 1st anniversary since Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years in prison and abolished apartheid, passed away. I am honored to have been born on this day so that I can keep reminding myself of his great achievement every time the day comes closer.
On the other hand, I happened to see a concert of Chilean band (BYS Revolution) which started playing Japanese anime songs 13 years ago (the songs are of course even older than that). Those songs really reminded me of my childhood and adolescent era.

If you are native Japanese speaker, you can tell that the 2 female vocalists don’t have any accent. Beside that, it’s amazing to hear that they barely understand Japanese language (though they know what letters mean), which is the outcome of their practice and passion on the songs.
Lastly, speaking of the elapse of time, I want to close this entry with a trailer of this great movie called “Interstellar” which I really recommend especially for those who liked the Inception or Memento since the director is the same person.
Although the definition of creativity differs depending on people I really think this art is the creative one.

Time never stops. That’s also why it’s precious. And it’s never too late to learn.
